‘The Great Escape’ by Larry June and The Alchemist

I believe that one of the most positive aspects of the COVID-19 pandemic has been the emergence of rappers like Larry June who have attracted more ears. Although his music is not played on radio or supported by a major label, artists of his stature have a loyal, cult-like fan base, even if they do not receive radio play.

In the course of the world being on lockdown, people were not able to attend clubs and were mostly confined to their homes because of the situation. As a result of this, June, along with a number of other underground artists in his field, stood out to the masses more than ever before, allowing him to gain a closer connection with the underground artists.

Larry June is able to further enhance his abilities as a rapper in many ways as a result of linking up with legendary producer The Alchemist. On March 31, June and Alc are releasing their highly anticipated album, The Great Escape, to the world for the very first time.

As a producer, Alan The Chemist has contributed to a number of classic records over the years, and even today, the heat continues to blast with a powerful force in this day and age. According to an interview he gave earlier this month to Rolling Stone, he acknowledged that Larry June was one of his “easiest” and “most fun” collaborators, using the phrase “easiest” and “most fun” interchangeably.“ When it comes to MCs with whom I feel I can truly mesh, I find we have to find a way in which we find a sound that works for us both,” he said. As I have discovered, he is someone who can do a variety of things. As he has a lot of skills, he was able to do a lot of stuff, so when we got up it was a breeze.”

“And I have to say that he is one of the easiest people that I have ever worked with as well as one of the most fun people because his energy is positive and we are always going up. The work I do with Larry is fun, and I enjoy working with him. There is no doubt that he is a scientist. In addition, he records his own material. As for his opinion regarding music, I also trust his judgment.

A total of 15 songs are included on the album, including featured tracks by Wiz Khalifa, Boldy James,Ty Dolla $ign, Action Bronson, Curren$y, Big Sean, and others.
