NBA YoungBoy arrived to the world on Friday, April 21st, to spoil the masses with his new project, Don’t Try This At Home, which is his sixth major studio release to date. It is noteworthy that the body of work consists of 33 songs and features guest appearances by the likes of Post Malone, Nicki Minaj, Mariah The Scientist, and The Kid LAROI. There is an official cover art that features NBA YoungBoy seated on the roof of the F.G. Clark Athletic Center in Baton Rouge, which is the home arena of the Jaguars basketball team of Southern University.
It was as if the 23-year-old was trying to maintain momentum that he dropped off the official music video for his track “Big Truck” which was released off of the project the following Saturday (April 22). During the new clip, NBA YoungBoy shows off his impressive collection of luxury vehicles in addition to rapping about the fact that he is not the one to mess around with.
Back in October 20, 2022, Baton Rouge native Dwayne Baton Rouge announced that he had signed a contract with Motown Records and will be recording his debut album as soon as possible. That August Slimeto released a new album under his former record label, Atlantic Records, which would be the last record Slimeto would release under the label. The project was released on May 22nd and debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 chart. Among the features on the project include Rod Wave, Kehlani and Quavo. There have been plenty of other projects he has put out during the past year as well, such as five mixtapes and two more studio albums he has released.
