It was a big week for Saweetie with the release of her “DON’T SAY NOTHIN'” track which she released yesterday (Nov. 17). On top of that, the Bay Area rapper has recently released a surprise EP titled THE SINGLE LIFE, which is a six-track body of work which serves to give her fans an update on where her mind is at the moment. Her standout song, “HANDLE MY TRUTH,” reveals the sort of man she expects to give her heart to next, opening up about what she wants from him:
The last album Saweetie released was 2021’s Pretty Summer Playlist: Season 1, which included songs by Kendra Jae, Bbyafricka, and Loui. As far as the size of the album is concerned, this was one of Saweetie’s biggest albums. Her previous EP titled ICY was released in 2019 and preceded that release. On that project, Quavo made two appearances across seven different songs, and he was featured on two of them. On top of her own releases, the artist for the track “Tap In” can also be heard on various tracks over the past few weeks, including “Faking Love” with Anitta, “Move” with Lil Tjay, “In My Face” featuring YG, “Baby Boo” by Muni Long, “All She Wanna Do” with John Legend, and many more.
