Tori Kelly has released an alternative video for her single “missin you (more)”

The single “missin u (more)” by Tori Kelly made its debut earlier this month, marking the singer’s return to the music scene. As a result of her recent release, the R&B diva decided to enhance the original release by releasing a second version of the music video as an addition to the original video released today (March 31). This new video footage begins with a scene showing Kelly singing alone in her room before quickly morphing into a complete music video set with monochromatic outfits and matching backdrops to accompany Kelly’s unique voice. It is clear that in the song, she is reminiscing about the good times she had with a former lover:

A recent interview with Tori Kelly revealed the intention behind the new single she is working on. “In this song, I’m talking about the feeling of missing someone, but I’m also so inspired by the eras of the early 2000s and late 1990s. Our goal was to make sure that both the lyrics and the music in the song conveyed a nostalgic feeling to the listener. There was no doubt in my mind that I would like people to be transported when they listen to this song. In other words, I want them to become nostalgic, whatever that feels like for them,'” she said.

The California-born singer Tori Kelly, who was born and raised in Los Angeles, stormed onto the scene when she released her debut album in 2016, Unbreakable Smile. The album featured features from a number of famous artists, including LL Cool J, Ed Sheeran, and Daye Jack throughout its 16 tracks. She has been featured on various tracks over the past few months, including “Real Thing” by Pink Sweat$, “Name” by Justin Bieber, and more.
