With slowly building momentum over the course of a year or two, Ice Spice has made her debut with hits like “Name of Love,” “Be a Lady,” “No Clarity,” and “Euphoric.” In August, Ice Spice delivered the song “Munch (Feeling U),” which has helped her to become one of the most sought-after artists in the current hip-hop era. In the months following the release of the infectious cut (and connecting with some of the biggest names in music like Cardi B and Drake), the Bronx emcee is ready to keep the party moving with a brand new track.
A RIOTUSA-produced song called “Bikini Bottom” is Ice Spice’s latest offering, which sees her rap in the style of a female rapper about haters, current career successes, and much more.
The rapper Ice Spice has recently been interviewed on Sirius XM’s Hip Hop Nation, where she explained the inspiration behind her song “Munch (Feelin’ U).”
“While I was sitting in my room, I asked myself, ‘Is there any way I can make a song very quickly?’ Basically, I challenged myself to make the quickest song possible, and I was just wondering, ‘I’m not planning to think too much.’ In the process, I did not do too many takes. I was feeling the vibes, and it was just a lot of fun. I believe I was a bit wine drunk.”
