With “Nothing Even Matters,” SiR returns with a new visual.

It has been three years since SiR released Chasing Summer, a studio album that featured 14 tracks and additional contributions from Kadhja Bonet, Kendrick Lamar, Lil Wayne, Smino, Sabrino Claudio, Jill Scott, and Zacari. There have been several one-off tracks released from the Inglewood talent since then, including “Rapper Weed” alongside Westside Boogie (as part of TDE’s Fan Appreciation Week), and a cover of The Isley Brothers’ legendary the Judas and the Black Messiah and “Footsteps in the Dark Pts. 1 & 2,”: The Inspired Album standout “Teach Me.” SiR also contributed vocal work to several tracks by his peers, including KAYTRANADA “Go DJ,” IDK “Temporary Love,” Robert Glasper “All I Do,” Tiana Major9 “Same Space (Remix),” and Isaiah Rashad “Hoarder.”

Throughout the past few months, SiR has been building momentum towards the release of his upcoming album Heavy with tracks such as “Satisfaction” and “Life Is Good” produced by Scribz Riley. He added to that last week with his SamTrax-produced song “Nothing Even Matters,” rich with sentimental lines about appreciation and love for a special someone:

Loris Russier has created a visual accompaniment to “Nothing Even Matters.” In the accompanying video, viewers can see SiR dancing with a crew of dancers throughout a factory, matching the singer’s vibes through synchronized moves throughout.
