Sheff G was in trouble with the law last year, and he was sentenced to two years for possession of a weapon. Even so, it appears that the Brooklyn emcee isn’t going to allow that lack of time to put a stop to his forward progress just yesterday (Mar. 23), the Brooklyn emcee released a new song called “Break From It,” for which Great John produced, on which he mentions his issues while also speaking on other aspects of his high-end lifestyle:
A label from the Empire State to look out for, Sheff G and the winner’s circle movement have continued to solidify their position. For instance, Sheff has delivered high-caliber cuts such as “Run It Up” with A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and in collaboration with Sleepy Hallow and “On Go,” “Drum Dummy,” “Start Some Shyt” with Polo. His first full-length release, Proud Of Me Now, was released back in December, and included tracks such as “No Negotiations,” “Eeny Meany Miny Moe,” “Lights On,” “Tip Toe,” and its title track. In addition to new Sheff G projects, there were also two projects from July titled Just 4 Yall and One and Only from May, with collaborations with Jay Critch, King Von, Lil Tjay, Rich The Kid, and more.
