The official release of Young Nudy latest project, Gumbo, was made yesterday (Feb. 28). With the album consisting of 13 songs, 21 Savage and Key Glock both drop guest appearances, while Coupe and Naestro handle the bulk of the production for the album. The album was designed as a conceptual release, with the songs being named after various foods that represent the various moods of the singer.
The Atlanta-raised emcee Young Nudy also follows up on the announcement of his album with a music video for his track “Pancakes.” INightLyfe directed this new clip, which takes place in a quite different setting from what you would expect from a car repair shop. With the help of some ladies, some lights, snakes, and some of his flow, Young Nudy brings a unique vibe to the offering topped off with a flawless flow:
There’s no question that the 30-year-old musician made a name for himself back in August 2022 when he released EA Monster, an 11-track collection with a sole assist from BabyDrill. Additionally to his own releases, you will also be able to hear him on a number of songs that have been recently released, such as “Barry From Simpson” produced by JID, and “Umbrella” produced by Metro Boomin, more. The rapper Young Nudy of “Hell Shell” is currently in the midst of his North American tour, which he is going to start this afternoon. San Diego will be the first stop on the journey, which will continue all the way until April 20th of next year.
