Black Fortune and Dyson Alexander collaborate on “Locked and Loaded”

Dyson Alexander has steadily released a succession of well-received songs in 2018. These include Eastman, “Mona Lisa,” “Aura” and Louie Bagz “Too Yxng,” and “Pressure.” In March, he made his official debut this year with “Locked and Loaded,” a collaboration with fellow DC artists Black Fortune and J.I.D. The lyrical cut, produced by Tyler Jasper and Shermon Luster, pays tribute to each of the artists’ respective girlfriends:

Here’s the matching visual for “Locked and Loaded” that’s courtesy of Sarafis Midas and Brickdam Clubhouse, which keeps things simple with an excerpt of Alexander in a fly location surrounded by lots of beauty. An old television dominates one room, where Alexander sits with an older vibe. Another room features changing light effects that surround the artists.

Since his release of “Locked and Loaded” in November, fans have also been treated to visually stunning music videos for “Backbone” and “Confused,” a HBG-backed single that continues to embody his love-infused sound. Like the previous video, the Terrius Mykel and New Order-directed clip places a strong focus on the music, with Alexander supplying the majority of harmonies in a single room as a stunning female companion stands beside him:
