It just so happens that Asian Doll released a 20-song body of work back in July, titled Let’s Do A Drill. The project features features from Dougie B, Tay Money, Ivorian Doll, Sosa Geek, Bandmanrill, Iffy Foreign, and plenty of others. A new song from Dallas-born rapper Danny Brown is available today. It’s called “Sky Falling,” a follow-up to his critically acclaimed album Drop [December 21], and it has been released in partnership with music technology company Vydia. In her new track, she demonstrates the richness of her vocals and croons about some of the hardships she has been facing lately:
The last project Asian Doll released was DOLL SZN RELOADED, Asia’s follow up to 2018’s Doll Szn. This release features seven tracks, with one feature from the late King Von on one track. In the years that followed, she has been included on tracks such as “Doom” by Blac Chyna, “Fish Tank” with Millyz, “Whole Lot More” featuring Boss Top, “Tour” with Blueface, and more.
A few months ago, Asian Doll shared some of her thoughts on what she thinks about the current situation of women in rap in an interview. “We are working harder than these boys,” she confidently said. In the meantime, the mothers are trying to steal everything we deserve, regardless of whether the sons are doing everything they can to take it away. It looks like we have already been counted out. There is a tendency on the part of these people to portray this game as one that is dominated by men.”
