Beyoncé and Kendrick Lamar collaborate on the remix of “AMERICA HAS A PROBLEM”

As of today (May 19), Beyoncé has taken her single “AMERICA HAS A PROBLEM” to the next level with the release of a remix that includes Kendrick Lamar. The Houston legend Beyoncé, who was co-produced by The-Dream and MIKE DEAN, lays down a scorching verse on the track to compare herself with cocaine, while alongside him, Lamar compliments the setting with his own addictive rhymes.

“AMERICA HAS A PROBLEM” is a song that samples Kilo Ali’s ’90s hit, “America Has A Problem (Cocaine)” Originally, it appeared as one of the songs on Beyoncé 2022 LP, RENAISSANCE, comprised of 16 songs with additional assistance from Big Freedia, BEAM, Skrillex, Sabrina Claudio, Tems, Raphael Saadiq, Nova Wav, and Grace Jones. In addition to its platinum certification, Lady Gaga’s seventh consecutive album to debut at number one on the Billboard 200 was also met with critical acclaim.

As part of the same year’s celebrations, Kanye West put out his fifth album, Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers. It was a concept album comprised of two parts and featured contributions from Ghostface Killah, Baby Keem, Kodak Black, Blxst, actress Taylour Paige, Sampha, Summer Walker, Tanne Leone, as well as many others. I don’t want to spoil the ending for you, but Mr. Morale received a lot of praise and topped the charts in much the same way as RENAISSANCE. This album earned him a gold certification, confirming his status as a top emcee in the city.
