EST Gee drops off sophomore ‘MAD’ album

A rapper as hot as EST Gee, he is undoubtedly one of the hottest rappers you can find right now in the game. There is no doubt that the CMG (Collective Music Group) shiner has made a strong impact on the music scene since he came on board in 2019. From the bars to the productions to making good music for the streets, he hasn’t taken his foot off the gas since he arrived.

A couple of things that set EST Gee apart from other artists on the music scene is his work ethic as well as his poise for greatness. In spite of his still relatively inexperience, the Kentucky-bred spitter’s name holds a great deal of weight in the music industry, which is evident in the way he uses his instruments. Introducing the new CD named MAD, which is Big Gee’s latest project, the rapper’s fans are treated to more audio smack today (Mar. 17).

As the follow up to Geeski’s debut album I Never Felt Nun, MAD deserves to be regarded as one of the most significant albums in his discography, if not the most important. Ahead of the announcement of the project, the “Lick Back” rapper took to social media to share a documentary-style post that showcased a short timeline of his rise from a local rapper to a major rapper. A clip of one of Gee’s earlier performances as a rapper was shown at the beginning of the video, followed by Gee fiddling with his house arrest ankle band for a bit before the video started. There was also an opportunity provided by the videos to shed light on the tragic loss of some of Gee’s closest friends.

The narrator of the video clip was EST Gee and he ended the clip with the saying, “I am always going to be mad.” There was a great deal of anticipation for the release of the album, but it is finally here and it will not disappoint. There is no doubt that CMG is taking things over for the new year and Gee is the best choice to get things started. In addition to the 14 records that make up MAD, there are three features that include Boosie Badazz Young Scooter, and Gee’s close friend, Kada who appears in the outro as well.
