A new single titled “Fools Fall N Love” features NBA YoungBoy and Shy Glizzy

The Washington, D.C.-based emcee Shy Glizzy has been treating fans with a number of well-received singles over the past few months, including “Underrated,” “Slime-U-Out,” “MMY Freestyle,” by 21 Hitmaka and Savage, “Borderline” by EST Gee and most recently, “Steppin’ On Sh!t.” A new track has arrived today (Feb. 3), entitled “Fools Fall N Love.” Equipped with an assist from NBA YoungBoy, the new track sees the duo Shy Glizzy & NBA YoungBoy trading bars over a Buddah Bless beat:

It was only a few months ago that the rapper Shy Glizzy of the hit single “Feel the Vibe” and his collective The Glizzy Gang unveiled the Don’t Feed the Sharks EP, a body of 18 tracks that gave the rest of the group an opportunity to introduce themselves to their most loyal, commercial fan base. There was a lot of crossover on his last solo album, Young Jefe 3, which featured appearances from Lil Uzi Vert, Meek Mill, 3 Glizzy, Ty Dolla $ign, Jeremih, G Herbo, Taliban Glizzy, No Savage, and NoCap across 18 tracks.

It’s important to note that what YoungBoy has been working on has been all the rage since he announced back in October that he had signed a deal with Motown Records. As the last album he released under his previous record label, Atlantic Records, Slimeto’s The Last Slimeto was his final release. With this body of work, there was plenty of diversity to allow it to reach the No. 2 spot on the Billboard 200 chart as well as include collaborations with artists such as Rod Wave, Quavo and Kehlan. During the last year alone, he released over five mixtapes, as well as two additional studio albums, along with a variety of other projects.
