‘Myself’ video from August Alsina has been released

There is no doubt that August Alsina has made a return to the music scene with a slew of singles including “Beautiful Way,” “Shake The World,” as well as his latest single, “Lied To You.” This weekend, he continued his momentum by dropping the empowering reintroduction single “Myself”, a song that has been paired with an empowering media video directed by MarkMark. August Alsina’s last full-length release was his second album, The Product III: stateofEMERGEncy, released in 2020. The album consisted of 27 tracks and featured contributions from Lil Wayne, Darrel Walls, Yo Gotti, Tink, and Juicy J. August Alsina’s album “The Rise of August Alsina” also had a five-part docu-series accompanying it, which was titled “The Rise of August Alsina,” which gave the viewer a behind-the-scenes look at August Alsina’s relationship and career with his fans, as well as his battle against an autoimmune disease.

According to the singer’s most recent Instagram post, he discussed what keeps him motivated in the approach to performing. “Watching a video of a child dancing and singing to his music reminded me of why I do what I do,” he captioned the video. “This is to serve as a beacon of hope to the future generations that will come from the region where I come from.
