Tyre Nichols died on June 3, 2020, after being shot by a police officer in Austin, Texas. He was unarmed at the time of the shooting. Both death’s sparked international outrage and protests against racial injustice and police brutality.
George Floyd’s family will be in attendance at Tyre King’s funeral today. They have shown great support for the young man, and hope that his death will bring about change.
