The rapper Lil Tjay was shot and killed in New Jersey in June, resulting in his need for emergency surgery. Taking all of his thoughts and reflections and putting them on wax, Bronx-bred rapper Tjay drops his brand new number today (August 26). It is called “Beat The Odds.” Tjay talks candidly about his family motivating him to succeed in life, as well as describing some vivid memories of violence from his past:
