New track “Beat The Odds” by Lil Tjay describes how he surpassed the odds

The rapper Lil Tjay was shot and killed in New Jersey in June, resulting in his need for emergency surgery. Taking all of his thoughts and reflections and putting them on wax, Bronx-bred rapper Tjay drops his brand new number today (August 26). It is called “Beat The Odds.” Tjay talks candidly about his family motivating him to succeed in life, as well as describing some vivid memories of violence from his past:

New York rhymer has recently released loose tracks like “Forever In My Heart,” “Goin’ Up,” and “Not In The Mood” featuring Kay Flock and Fivio Foreign. A 21-track full-length album, Destined 2 Win, was his last full-length project released in 2021. That project featured Offset, Toosii, Moneybagg Yo, Saweetie, Fivio Foreign, Polo G, and 6lack.
