Roddy Ricch and Kodak Black perform on “I Remember” with Internet Money

It was announced on Friday (March 24) that Internet Money had released their new single, “I Remember,” which was an emotional offering starring Kodak Black and Roddy Ricch. Over the production of E-Trou, Taz Taylor, Cxdy, Dyryk, Nash Beats, Nick Mira, and DJ Showtime, Roddy and Kodak are able to be heard reflecting on the hardships they went through before gaining fame and fortune.

The Internet Money collective released their debut LP titled “B4 The Storm” back in 2020, which consisted of 17 songs and featured a wide range of guest appearances from the likes of The Kid LAROI, Trippie Redd, Future, Young Nudy, Swae Lee, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Juice WRLD, Wiz Khalifa, and more. Later in the year, after a few years of momentum, they would keep things rolling with their six-song EP We All We Got, which included guests like Ken Carson, LUCKI, Lil Tecca, Yeat, Destroy Lonely, and Lil Yachty.

According to Taylor, he has already talked about the meaning and the intent of Internet Money during a prior interview.

“It isn’t easy to explain, in fact,” he began. “I guess I kind of put it on my back due to the fact that the industry and the internet are having a struggle right now, because everyone is complaining about how we are ruining the game, and saturating it, and all this stuff. No, I don’t think so. It is just a matter of doing what needs to be done. Music is something we enjoy doing, and this is what keeps us going. There is no denying this is how we make money, and I am not going to allow anybody to smear the name of any internet producer of any type. So it’s like a producer union.”
